Now if I have one beauty weakness… Other than red lipsticks, I mean. You can totally have two. Or maybe three.

But I digress. If I have one beauty weakness, it is anything in crayon form. My love affair with big chunky sticks started with the Clinique Chubby series a long time ago when I purchased the shade Mega Melon as a reminder of my one month road trip to Chile with Mr. Loca, and ever since I have happily collected crayons for every area of my face.

So the Chanel Rouge Crayon de Couleur Spring 2017 Collection promo picture immediately grabbed my attention. I mean, a lip crayon and a big, happy smile, what else do you need to get into spring mode?

To fight the urge to go out and get yet another lip crayon, this time by Chanel and really hurting my wallet, I decided to try and recreate the look as part of my Inspired by series. I did actually like the look a lot, even though I tend to wear liner and heavier eyes in general and rarely put the main focus on the lips.
