Natura Siberica Neck and Décolleté Lifting Cream – Fighting gravity

Have you heard about the gravity chairs you will train on if you want to become an astronaut? They spin you around and around, at increasing speed, until you experience up to 6 g, which is about 6 times more than you feel in a starting aeroplane. And which is close to the max a human body can cope with, at least for a short time.

I was always intrigued by that experience, but as I get motion sick very easy, becoming an astronaut never was an option.

So the closest I came to experiencing changes in gravity was after having a baby. Believe me, when your boobs grow by almost two cup sizes, you will feel the pull!

The perfect time to test the Natura Siberica Neck and Décolleté Lifting Cream (*) and Icy Lifting Mask (*), don’t you think?

What Natura Siberica claims:

Lifting Cream:

Our neck and décolleté lifting cream is developed to take peculiar daily care of age sensitive neck and décolleté areas. Its unique formula helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles for soft, smooth, naturally ageless skin.

Icy Lifting Mask:

Our neck and décolleté icy lifting mask is aimed to take precise care of sensitive neck and décolleté areas. Designed for mature skin this treatment strengthens the skin while reducing fine lines and wrinkles for beautiful, ageless appearance.

Facts:

Prize and size

Cream:

One pot contains 120 ml and retails for 10 € here.

Mask:

One pot contains 120 ml and retails for 8,30 € here.

Texture and smell

Both products feel like a rich moisturizer when applied. The mask claims to be refreshing and you are advised to store it in the fridge to maximize the cooling effect. When applied out of the fridge, it feels cooling, but if not I didn’t experience any sensation of that kind. Both smell faintly floral and contain perfume (way down the ingredient list).

Application and effects

As expected, the mask feels richer than the cream, but both sink in pretty quickly. I had no trouble applying them straight before bed. As for the effect, I have always been very good at moisturizing my neck and décolleté, so I don’t have that many fine lines to combat. After the two months of usage though my skin feels hydrated and plump.

Do they live up to their claims?

Yes.

Both are really hydrating, which will plump out fine lines, and both contain a lot of antioxidants and collagen stimulating ingredients to back up the claim of „firming“. Obviously neither of them lead to an „ageless“ appearance on my neck, that is an exaggerated claim.

Would I repurchase?

The cream, yes.

Lovely ingredients, not expensive and including ingredients I don´t come across in my usual moisturizer I am quite happy with my pick. And while the mask is nice as well, it is just not that special that I would feel the need to have it as an additional product in my collection.

Who do I recommend it to?

Anyone.

Taking care of your neck and décolleté is very important, and yet it is the most neglected area of our body. I think the cream offers more benefits than the mask, but either of them would make a lovely addition to your stash.

Another product I received from EcoNatural products was a „95% organic moisturizing antioxidant lip balm“ in the flavor pomegranate (*). I will not bore you with an in-depth review of a chapstick, but I can recommend adding one to your cart if you shop on the website. Really moisturizing!

Have you heard of the shop EcoNatural products before?

And how do you deal with changes in gravity?

  • Sounds like lovely products. To be honest, I think any moisturiser on the neck and chest works – it’s the one area people always neglect for some reason!

    • I was only recently introduced to them as well. Do you like to go all organic with your skincare?

  • Interesting post. I do think that sometimes women neglect their décolletage. I use creams and moisturise my neck and décolletage. This brand is new to me. Thanks for the review.
    FASHION TALES

    • My mother told me early on to do the same, but I have seen many women stop at the chin.

  • I neglect my décolletage until recently, had no idea that I need to apply cream there too. I’m good with my neck but there’s still lots of lines there unfortunately. I am familiar with EcoNaturals and will be adding that cream into my list in the future, for now I am using the tons of moisturizers that I have on my décolletage, it’s a great way to finish up my stash.

    Shireen | Reflection of Sanity

    • You move your neck a lot, as much as your face, so it is only natural that lines appear there very early. And with the boobs… Not much movement there, but the gravity affects us all. Some more than others, obviously.
You will go through moisturizers pretty quickly that way, but I found a good body moisturizer works just as well if used regularly.

  • I have never heard of that brand before but the cream sounds like a really good find. I hardly ever remember to remember to take care of my neck or my decolletage…I am sure no surprise there!

    Agata http://herandmakeup.com

    • You really should, you have way more to show off there than I do.

  • Both sound nice. I’d probably prefer the cream too, but since they aren’t prohibitively expensive I’d be keen to try both.

    • The really aren’t that expensive, so it is easy to try them and see which one you like best. Do you use dedicated products for this area already?

  • I am actually familiar with EcoNaturals and these products sound quite nice. I always forget to take care of my neck or decollete. Also, I love your little introduction on each post, sometimes they do crack me up 🙂

  • I also tend to get motion sickness very easily as well so I try to avoid anything that will trigger it. I didn’t used to be so good about tending to my neck and décolleté but I’ve tried to be vigilant ever since my facialist pointed out the importance.

    • Sometime we need a hint in the right direction by someone we trust. My mother was very persistent on that topic.

  • I’ve tried products from this brand and really enjoyed them! It’s good to hear that you had a good experience with these too. To be honest, I look after my neck but neglect my décolletage, well, I use body lotion on it daily, does that count? 😉 x

    Mummy’s Beauty Corner

    • I guess that counts. Moisturizing is what you need, and you will get this from your body cream. If it is a good one, that is.

    • Of course you can. But there are male skincare and beauty blogger out there if you want specific male advice. In some points male and female skin is different, and they do age slightly different.

  • I’d not heard of this brand before but it’s great that you recommend the cream especially! 🙂 I’m going to have to start looking into firming/anti-aging stuff soon, once I’ve used up all of the current set of things in my bathroom cabinet. I’m thinking I should have blogged about it, it’s almost been a year and I’m still going through all these little samples……you don’t realise how much stuff you accumulate sometimes!

    • Tell me about it. When I was packing away my stash for the move there was so much stuff everywhere, stuff I didn’t even know existed! And I am not even talking samples, just things I bought with the intention to try them.

    • Especially for the price. They are not more expensive than you average body cream.

  • Oh i must try this! yes after the pregnancy, the gravity took its toll and now everything is pointing south :)). My neck is the area im annoyed most, ill look these up x.

    http://www.yourbeauty.ie

    • The neck is the area you cant cover up with close (except scarves, but you really cant wear the every day).

  • This sounds really good, I have a face roller which is supposed to help keep things firm but honestly I am not sure it does anything. Have you tried any face rollers, do you recommend any? Xx

    ALittleKiran | Bloglovin

    • Is it one of the needle rollers? They work by causing micro trauma, which is meant to induce collagen production, but in my opinion they mainly cause inflammation, which is something I wouldn´t want in my skin. The non-needle ones are mainly for lymphatic drainage, I have one of these, a jade roller that I really like, but it is not supposed to be firming.

  • Ivana Džidić

both the cream and the mask sound great. Graviety does take its toll and I think all of us ladies can use a little help. I recently read a nonsense article about how wearing a bra doesn’t do anything for us, even for ladies with a large cup size (supposedly it even weakens our muscles—yeah right!) and how basically we should all go braless, be the feminist and let ourselves be limited by society and I was like….what? Obviously, the writer of this article doesn’t know anything about how it is to have a larger cup size. Fact one: gravity pulls things down. Fact two: running and even walking at a quicker pace without a bra if you are C+ or plus is a nightmare. Yes, there are societies where all women go topless but they are adapted to it and we’re just not…we need bras, cremes, mask and what else not….and we should make use of all we can to feel better about ourselves and feel comfortable in our skin. I’m glad to hear you had a great experience with these!

    http://www.modaodaradosti.blogspot.com

    • When not breastfeeding I am a B/small C cup, and the thought of going for a quick walk or even a jog without support is painful to say the least. And the muscles lay beneath the breast tissue, so not much support from them. It is only our skin fighting the gravity in this area, no mater how much butterfly press we are doing at the gym. So I completely agree with you: support, creams, whatever we want to try and what makes us feel good. And I have no idea why a bra is linked to feminism. If I want to, I wear one. If not, not. End of story.

      • Ivana Džidić

I don’t get why not wearing a bra should be linked with a feminism either. The chest muscles don’t support our breasts…all we can do with expercise is make them a bit smaller but as you said it is pretty much skin that supports them…and that skin needs help. I always wear a bra and I plan to continue doing so. I might be trying out those creams and masks in near future as well.

  • It sounds like I need to pick these up! The lifting cream sounds lovely.

  • the cream looks so luxurious and rich! i’ve started using a night cream by Vichy recently but nothing more, my pores tend to clog really easily so i’m guilty of frequently skipping moisturizer altogether.. i think i’d use something like this every day if only to indulge myself haha!

    Life as Aditi

    • I don’t really use a moisturizer every day, I feel like my skin doesn’t really need it. At least the skin on my face, my body is in desperate need of moisturizing all year round. And as these are meant to go on the body, I get a lot of use out of them.

  • Wow the formulations look really good for such affordable skincare products! I don’t know if I can find the brand here, but it would be worth trying for me. Unlike you I wasn’t very good at moisturizing my decolleté until I started noticing fine lines!

    Beaumiroir

    • Fine lines are there, even though I started early. I guess it is just an area with a lot of movement.

  • I actually don’t put any cream on my chest or neck yet, but I’ve been told about it. I like that it’s not an expensive cream at all. That makes me more motivated about the whole thing 🙂

    • Haha, I know what you mean. I keep telling myself that everything from the face downward including my boobs should be worth the extra money, but if I get a cheaper alternative and save my face moisturizer for my actual face, I am all about that.

This is an amazing review, Anne, and I am really intrigued by the product.
