If you remember my last Favorites post (read here if you missed it), you know I promised change. And change there is, but if it was for better or worse, only time and you, dear readers, can tell. Or should it be “Dear Watchers”, given it is a You Tube video? Are you the watchers on the Wall, sworn to defend humankind from boring and repetitive content? And can you tell I am really looking forward to the last season of Game of Thrones airing soon?
But wait, I am not really sure if I am looking forward to that. Game of Thrones, I mean. You see, I do look forward to watching it, but I am not looking forward to it being the last season. Does that make any sense?
Alas, the blog post seems to go the same way as the video did in terms of lacking structure. Editing made me realize I was all over the place, mixing favorites with disappointing products and personal stuff with seasonal things. It will improve with time. At least that is what I tell myself.
I recently had to battle a dragon in order to free my princess.
Now, not literally a dragon and not really a princess, but it sure felt similar. Or at least how I would imagine it to feel, as dragons are rare these days.
I had to face two middle aged men in order to free some Sephora goodies from customs. They were held captive because no invoice was attached, as I had won them in a giveaway.
The battle went back and forth, me trying to explain beauty blogs, Twitter and giveaways to people that barely grasped the concept of a lipstick, but in the end I was victorious.
Home with me came an adorable set of four Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipsticks, each containing 1.5 g of product. They went by the name Honeycomb (described as a beige nude), Fig (a nude rose), Pepper (a dusty rose) and Nori (a deep brown red and my favorite of them all).
You may have noticed there wasn´t a Favorites post last month. Quite frankly, after doing my Favorites for 2016 (see Makeup and Skincare here in case you missed them), I felt like there wasn´t much to report.
So I settled for February Favorites and a short break, mentally preparing to have a really big list of things to mention.
Turns out, that isn´t the case. I do have quite a few makeup bits, but only one skincare item (shocking, I know) and I completely forgot about the lifestyle category. Bad Vlogger indeed.
