ADVERTISEMENT INFO: SOME PRODUCTS MENTIONED IN THIS POST ARE PR (GIFTED) AND LINKS USED ARE AFFILIATE LINKS. I RECEIVED NO MONEY TO WRITE THE BLOGPOST. PLEASE READ DISCLAIMER   Another month, another bunch of lovely products that arrived at my doorstep, some as a surprise and some because I ordered them to replace longstanding favorites I finished. It is a mix of brands you probably know very well, like The Ordinary, Deciem and Estée Lauder, brands you have heard of on this blog several times already, even though they aren’t…

Beauty Empties February 2019

This blog post contains affiliate links. Please read disclaimer. A few days ago I had a conversation with Lindsey (who blogs at Sustainably Savvy about green beauty and her zero waste journey) about the “right amount” of products to include into a Beauty Empties video. I mean, you basically need to get people interested in you talking about trash, that is hard work!     On top of that you don´t want to show too many products – I mean, I love watching empties, but if I see the video…

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation Review – Off trend

Advertisement info: This blog post uses affiliate links. Please read disclaimer. Yes, I know it is summer. Hot days, bronzed skin, effortless makeup. And yet, admits a flurry of posts singing praises for dewiness and light coverage, here I am. Ready to talk about a matte finish, full coverage foundation. In fact, I am about to review THE matte full coverage foundation – Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup. Why? I can hear you cry out! Why suffocate my feed with thoughts about heavy coverage? Why plant pictures…

Face of Filming – My foundation and brow routine.

When I started making videos, I had no idea how different my makeup would look on camera as opposed to real life.     Of course I had heard people mention it, but as always you only ever really believe the things you experience yourself. So after a lot of trial and error, all documented on camera of course, I finally have settled for a routine I am content with.

Face masks – All you need to know

When I asked in my recent videos which topic you would want to hear more about, sheet masks were highly requested. But as sheet masks on their own are not that big of a topic, I decided to film a video about face masks in general, with a special emphasis on sheet masks. Oh, and with bloopers.

My evening skincare routine – Winter 2016

You know, it sometimes takes some time to actually convince myself to face the camera completely without makeup, but as my appearance improves during the course of the video, I relax. Now doing it the other way round, starting with a full face of makeup and turning myself into a concealer-less, scrubbed face person with oil all over was strange, to say the least.   Aktivieren Sie JavaScript um das Video zu sehen.https://youtu.be/qHJRiGJRNlI   But you asked for it and here it is: My evening skincare routine.

Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Concealer – Marks all over my face

As long as I can remember, I had marks on my face. When I was a baby, I had seborrheic eczema on my cheeks for some time. Harmless, but not very pretty. When I reached the age of eleven, the first spots made their appearance, and despite (or maybe because of) my frantic attempts to get rid of them, continued to expand from my forehead all over my face. When I reached the age of twenty, I figured my skin would get better, but the joys of adolescence seamlessly blended…

Favorite products 2015 Part I – Skincare, hair care, body care

It is the final days of 2015, a time spend on reflecting and looking back, so I figured I´d share my musings with you and show you my favorite products of 2015. To help you decide what you want to watch, I divided it into two videos: One featuring skin-, hair and body care and one talking all things makeup. That way I was able to keep them short(er) as well, which is always a bonus. Today we are covering skin- hair and body care, makeup will be up on the 3rd of…

The exception from the rule – Collective Haul

I have mentioned several times before, I put myself on a spending ban when the Little Bean was born. That was how I imagined it to be. The reasons were various: I own so much makeup, I could probably go for two years straight without the need to buy something new. I have a bathroom cabinet dedicated to unused skincare I really wanted to try. I wanted to get use out of the products I really love, instead of hoarding them until they were far beyond expiration date and went…

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum Review- Worth the hype?

ADVERTISEMENT INFO: THIS BLOG POST USES AFFILIATE LINKS. I RECEIVED NO MONEY TO WRITE IT. PLEASE READ DISCLAIMER. Estee Lauder was never a brand I would have named one of my favorites. Yes, I had heard about the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum, loved by many, but somehow I thought of it as outdated, something my grandmother would have used, something I was way to young to put on my bathroom shelf. But as I have gotten more and more into serums, turned 35 (ha, 41 by the time…
