I kind of started a mini series earlier this spring, trying to make a seasonal trend work by creating three different looks with it.
Three different ways to wear glitter
One very wearable even for the less adventurous makeup lover.
One bold enough to satisfy a makeup aficionados heart on a day to day basis.
And one that I would personally refrain from wearing to the office. Which says a lot, I tend to wear whatever I fancy.
And when I asked you lovely lot in my latest “Three looks” video (watch
here if you are curious) which trend I should try for the winter/holiday season, the voting was unanimous: Glitter!
And another Vlog coming your way, this time covering around the two weeks in my life.
Only the highlights, promised. Which are The Body Shop face masks, food and the first signs of fall.
I hope you enjoy!
I know, I know. It is September. Actually the first week of September is already over, but I had to reschedule due to vlogging. And how could you trash a “Taking out the trash”-post?
So here you go, my August 2016 Empties, which include a lot of skincare and also a lot of me ranting about skincare claims and marketing.
August 2016 will forever be remembered as the month of boxes. And living out of boxes. And falling over boxes. You get the drill. But there still was some stuff, mostly the already unboxed stuff (ha, how many time can I say boxes in one paragraph?), that I enjoyed using.
August 2016 Favorites
So here they are: My August 2016 Favorites. Barely any makeup, some skincare and a lot of random stuff. But sometimes life is just that. Random.
Another blog, this time taking you through the pains of moving and my everyday life.
Prepare to see me makeup free and rambling on about stuff. Oh, and bear with me as I try to master the technique of the OOTD. There is much room for improvement, but hey, we live and learn.
Do use the FitBit? Are you as addicted as I am?
If you are a regular follower around here, you will know that red lipstick have a special place in my heart.
And that I like makeup in stick form.
So it comes to no surprise that one of my favorite lip products is a red lip crayon by Astor, called Va Va Voum. It is part of the Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butter line, and that line recently received a few new additions.
No breaking news: I had a baby in early March. And you are probably tired of me banging on about it.
But many of you asked for more background information, so I figured I would film a little video, taking you with me on the journey to the hospital and into the delivery room.
Well, not really into, just narratively into, because
a) I don’t think anyone would want to see the bloody details and
b) I had many other things on my mind that did not include picking up a camera.
We are even further in than Marty McFly was!
To ease in to the New Year, I decided not to bother you with a lengthy review today, but instead show you my makeup favorites 2015, bundled up in a short video.
So without further ado, start watching! I hope you enjoy.
